I am the Program Coordinator for Public Administration (MPA & DPA) and Organizational Leadership at Valdosta State University. I was an assistant professor of political science and public administration at Georgia College before joining the faculty at Valdosta State. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Florida where I studied American political institutions, public administration, and research methods. My research has been published in Politics & Policy, Social Science Quarterly, and American Review of Politics, along with a book with UNG Press.
Prior to a career in academia, I served in the United States Navy (1998-2006), mostly on the U.S.S. Kentucky (SSBN 737 BLUE), and drove over the road for Schneider National, Inc. (2006-2007).
